Raining all day, today, so visited the residence of 300 yrs. of Bavarian kings. Couldnt photo the magnificantly decorated outside due to the pouring rain, but was able to get this interior courtyard shot through an open window. Photographs werent possible in most rooms, but got what I could. There are three photos of the opulent royal theater and two of the queens crown jewels. Yes, those are rubies and diamonds...lots of them! Listen, friends, the opulence of this palace is off the charts! These folks knew how to treat themselves well........ (at taxpayer expense, no doubt)! Got to tour the palace treasury where 300 yrs. of gifts, war plunder, and treasures are kept. I have never seen such opulence. There were swords with jewel encrusted handles, engraved gold and silver crowns studded with gem stones, place settings of solid silver to seat up to 80 guests, jewel encrusted silver and gold goblets....more than the senses could take in. Having seen this, I am reminded of the Holy Spirits promise that says, Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, neither has even entered into the mind of man what God has prepared for those that love Him. The last photo is of Janet, our divine encounter of the day! This sweet shop keeper got so excited about the Fathers Love Letter that she had goose-bumps! Janet is very near to salvation. She deeply receives the things of God with a humble heart. Its really sad that we didnt have more time with her. She would have been a wonderful disciple of Jesus! Please pray for this dear woman! Off to Zurich tomorrow. There is much much more to see in Munich, but time is running out. Love you all!
