Random Its a small world World Cup Brazil Scenario No 1: So after landing in Georgetown, Guyana .. travelling solo ... travelling across the Guyanese jungle ... meeting characters Michael Hegan and Cliff at Guyana 12-seater aircraft airport .. hopping across the Brazilian border ... and ending up staying on a strangers sofa - the lovely couple Arthur Azevedo and Juliana Quintella Ribeiro... You can check the video of this part of my trip right here if you havent seen it yet ... youtu.be/fFJlxCnxwNY I then find myself at Boa Vista airport ... seeing off Mike and Cliff who had an early flight to Manaus ... and I get approached by this English character ... who says to me ... I saw you in that nightclub Palm Court in Guyana a few days ago ... are you a Brentford fan? .... Basically, Faizal Khan clocked me in a night club in my one night in Georgetown ... I had landed in GT late but couldnt leave the country without sampling the nightlife (a little bit of chutney goes a long long way) so I did ... we never spoke ... but he then randomly recognised me at Boa Vista airport .... hundreds and hundreds of miles away in Brazil .... two days later ... Firstly the fact that he also travelled to Brazil via Guyana was remarkable indeed ... secondly the fact that he recognised me ... And thirdly the fact that he also recognised me from Brentford ... and he is an Arsenal fan .... We hung out in Brazil and had some jokes ... I may even pop over to Guyana to revisit Palm Court with him in the near future ..... as you do ....
