Random MetroCon memories: 1. Arriving 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning to an empty (so we thought) convention center, only to discover we were actually 2nd in the Pre-Reg line. 2. Didnt attend a single panel, didnt get a single autograph, didnt win a single thing, but still Saturday totally rocked with pictures, pictures, and more pictures! 3. Did you hear about the Nights Watch who had the left side of his body chopped off? No! Dont worry. Now hes all right. 4. Trapped at the foot of the escalator by (a) physical number of bodies which kind of sucked, and (b) photo requests which we much appreciated. :) 5. Saw some amazing costuming, particularly the MechWarrior and Malificent costumers. 6. Cosplayers sword-fighting with balloons on their heads. Its official: Ezio Auditore de Firenze of Assassins Creed is the clear champion in swordplay. ... but only because Jon Snow and the Nights Watch stepped aside, for our watch had begun. 7. Returning with food for the group lunch - It sure is hot outside. I feel like Im about to pass out... We shall mourn your loss, but for now we must press on! 8. I need to find Princess Elsa and ask her if the White Walkers spawned from her abandoned Ice Castle. 9. The difference in energy levels between Saturday and Sunday. 10. The inadvertent epic photobomb (attached).
