Random Thoughts: Make Becoming Whole Your ONLY Purpose! Truth of the matter is this: NO ONE OWES YOU ANYTHING!!!!! Therefore, to be happy and content All The Time is to realize that all you will ever need, you already have! The journey of life is recognizing that! Do you remember the classic movie, The Wizard Of Oz? Poor ole Dorothy left home to follow a yellow brick road, in hopes of finding a man who was said to have the answer to her problems. In turn, Dorothy found out that, the man was a liar and a deceiver! (Sounds familiar?) Dorothy also realized that the three friends she met were as worse off as the wizard! The scarecrow had no brains, the lion had no courage and the tin man had no heart!... Dam! she was better off at the farm back in Kansas. Do you get the message here? Anytime you wander off your path to find yourself, you only attract a bunch of people who are as empty as you are! Too many black women are looking for a mister right, not considering that if you found him, what would YOU have to offer, boo? Your bank account is continually over-drawn, and your fingernails are to long to roll a biscuit! The black church is full of members who come one Sunday to the next, depending on the preacher to give you a word from heaven! You shout & dance in church, but realize upon getting back in your car that: YOU ARE STILL EMPTY INSIDE!!!. and now you are driving your car back to the same thing that drove you to church! How many men do I know who work 60 - 70 hours a week, thinking that by financially getting a head, you will be much more happy? Only to find out that, in reality you honestly dont even remember the ages of your own children, much-less your own wifes birthday! The answer is Find YOU inside of YOU FIRST THEN, you will be prepared to serve in the world outside of you! Read Matthews 6:33 for further clarification! It is a dangerous thing to run on empty and certainly NOT Gods best for you!.. Here are a few suggestions to help you get on path to yourself! #1) Learn to silence the noise in your head! Every chance you get ask YOURSELF questions AND, WAIT FOR THE ANSWER!!! 2) STOP comparing yourself with others! You are an original! Who told you that you need anyones approval? 3) Trust your OWN inner voice and follow it! By doing so, you will realize that YOU are pretty smart & creative! Lastly, #4) DO NOT expect anything from anyone!!!.....Trust me! when you lower your expectation of people then, people will honestly amaze you with sincere responses! God made everything to operate fully & completely, and this include me and YOU! ...Ya heard? KDW
