The manager had a few quiet words with us at the interval and we knew what we had to do, he said. Of course there was anger at half-time. If you go into the dressing room at any level with that kind of scoreline you know that its not acceptable. Youve got to adapt to the conditions and we didnt do that in the first half. We showed great determination to come back and go on to win the game and sometimes in these conditions that is all you can ask for. We got the reaction that we wanted. And Smith also believes the game has sent out a warning to Rangers that they will not get it as easy as they might think in SPFL League One. There has been talk of a perfect season for McCoists side, who have won all nine league games. But Smith has warned there will be plenty of afternoons in the months that lie ahead where it will all be about knuckling down and getting the job done. We know what we have got to deal with, he said. It is going to be tough and there are times when we need to roll our sleeves up and dig in. Credit to all the boys because we managed to do that.
