Rant of the Day: You know what kind of people I have no respect for? Pedestrians who think they have a right to walk in the very clearly marked bike lane. When biking around the giant bike path near Canada Place, I understand that there are lots of tourists, so I pedal slowly. I do my due diligence by ringing my bell to alert clueless pedestrians that there is a bike behind them. And then very polite say just to let you know for your safety folks, this is a bike path and the pedestrian walkways are on either side. Most people are great, and actually go oh! Thank you for letting me know! and they make their way to the pedestrian side. There are always a few people who decide to stay in the lane and ignore my warning. And then theres the one wholl argue my warning. Today, one who brought up the fact that I look like an immigrant as part of his argument why he was in the right. You would never argue with a car when youre walking on the road, so why would you do the same to a bike path? Those are the people I have absolutely no respect for. They can suck on a dead dogs nose. #RantOver
