Rants & Raves: Kevin Kelly here. A news study to be released later this month indicates that divorce rates are higher in religiously conservative red states than blue states. Arkansas is ranked among the highest. The study articles says a conservative religious culture is the main contributing factor thanks to the social institutions they create that decrease marital stability. It goes on to site many examples of what happens... young people feeling pressured to marry sooner is one example. What are your thoughts?
