Rasulullah Shalallahu Alayhi Wasallam said : I am [The Result] invocation of Prophet Ibraheem [Alayhis-sallam] and Glad Tidings of Prophet Isa [Alayhis-sallam] A companion once asked Rasulullah Shala-Allahu Alayhi Wasallam to talk about himself. Rasulullah remarked : I am [the result] duaa of Prophet Ibraheem [Alayhis-sallam] and glad tidings of Prophet Isa [Alayhis-sallam]. This alludes to the following two Quranic verses : First : Prophet Ibraheem [Alayhis-sallam] prayed as follows : Our Lord, and send among them a Messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Verily, You are the Exalted in Might, the All Wise. [Quran Surah Al-Baqarah [2] : 129] Second : And [mention] when Jesus the son of Mary [Isa ibn Maryam] said, O children of Israel, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad. But when he came to them with clear evidence, they said, This is obvious magic. [Quran As-Saff [The Ranks] [61] : 6] # Is Ahmad in Surah As-Saff verse 6 Prophet Muhammad ?# A question mentioned Is Ahmad in Surah As-Saff verse 6 Prophet Muhammad ? The answer is Yes, of course ! Lets we find out then ! In verse mentions ... Asmahu Ahmad [his name is Ahmad], so in verse using the name Ahmad, not Muhammad. Ahmad is the second name of prophet Muhammad, it literally means one who praises Allah more than others. [Interpretation of the meaning of the Noble Quran Darussalam 1999 page 728 by Hilali Khan]. Ahmad is also the superlative from of Muhammad and furthermore the holy Prophet, as narrated in an authentic Hadith, had five names which one of was Ahmad : Narrated Jubair ibn Mutim : Allahs Messenger [Shala-Allahu Alayhi Wasallam said : I have five names : I am Muhammad and Ahmad ; I am Al-Mahi through whom Allah will eliminate Al-Kufr [infidelity] ; I am Al-Hashir who will be the first to be resurrected, the people resurrected thereafter ; and I am also Al-Aqib [i.e there will be no Prophet after me]. [Shahih Al-Bukhari , 4/3532 (O.P 732]
