Re Jim Warren I wanted to convey to you how very pleased my husband and I were in our dealings with Jim Warren. We worked with Jim for 18 months until we finally found our home recently in Lawrence Park. For the first year of our search, my husband and I were living in the UK. Jim would call us every month or so to give us an update on the Toronto housing market. Through that period, we came back to Toronto every 6 weeks (usually on separate trips) and we always made it a point to go out with Jim at least once per trip. Even if he knew that the particular home we were viewing was not one we would eventually buy, he felt it was important for us to see different styles of homes as part of the “educational process”. Having said that, he was also sensitive to our time and he didn’t show us a house just for the sake of showing us something – Jim was very selective in which homes he wanted to us to see. He was extremely patient with us as we started our search in Rosedale and ended up in Lawrence Park. Through it all, he remained good-humoured. He is a true professional and isn’t afraid to voice his opinions, even if they differed from our own. Ultimately, he is very respectful of his client’s choices, recognizing that it is his clients who have to live in the home they choose. It is very apparent that he truly enjoys his work and his clients. Jim has a lovely aesthetic and eye for detail and quality. His attentiveness, attention to detail and professionalism are reasons why we will most certainly rely on Jim’s expertise in the future for any other home sales and purchases. We have no doubt that Johnston & Daniel recognizes the value in Jim’s contribution but wanted to express our appreciation nonetheless. Yours truly, Connie Chan
