It went for mastering today. It happens to be full moon, a time to harvest what has been sown. Its taken 3 years to record fitting it in-between working to pay bills. I was raised to believe this is a democracy where people could speak out without fear. Didn’t we fight wars to protect those rights? Some subjects have raised their heads recently that I have to respond to so here we go. I will probably become unemployable locally for speaking up, but I am now too old to care. I found out how corrupt government and the city are via my experiences with the North Cornwall Water poisoning of 1988 still running as arguments 25 years later. I saw and heard a lot and also learned a lot about authority and government at all levels. I learned a lot about people with dubious motives too. All of which I will write down for public record as long as I don’t suddenly pop my clogs prematurely. I know I am ok as a human and I have nothing to hide and be secretive about so I will speak my truth as I see it. …God bless the land of the ‘free’. The USA now extends right across the globe with its big stick waving. This country is the tale wagged by the dog led by weak people with no vision left or right. Well, its too late for me to gig there now anyway so sod it. And they’ll only download the new album illegally so what the heck. Face book etc will have to toe the government line increasingly as pressure is brought to bear. We wont be using it in 10 years time anyway. So now we’ve reached the moment when half of the people think secrecy is necessary to protect them from the threats we have all been told forever that we face, and the other half think secrecy is a sign of devious clever people doing and thinking evil things. Read 1984 and Brave New World…its come true…all of it. And many realise we now have to talk in whispers if our opinion differs slightly from that of the status quo who believe the easy to swallow TV media’s selective reporting. And one mustn’t affect ones career prospects must one! So who are the real liars, the cheats, the greedy, the corrupt, the designers of society? And who are the sacrificial lambs of society being led to the slaughter Who are the sleeping comatose in their booze fuelled drug inspired cravings? Now everyone just steals everything because they think it’s their right to freely share everything without funding any of the originators. For example, when the creators of entertainment, to name just one area I know a bit about, can’t live and put a meal on their table, because their creations aren’t valued by corporate commercial companies in the record industry and the creators don’t get paid even a fair honest wage for their efforts, the creators will all be too busy doing low paid part time jobs with no employment rights and wont have any time left to be able to create anything worthwhile. The Establishment led us here through long long history. They always crushed any visionaries and truth seekers and whistle blowers instantly and viciously just as they do now. Step out of line for too long and they will ‘take you out’ of the game, the rules of which they set and change to suit their own agendas of power. They make the rules and change them when it suits them. Now the bankers and the City types have screwed it for the elderly, the vulnerable, the sick. Just what did our parents sacrifice their lives for then in World War 2 ? The ones we can see on TV are not the ones pulling the strings. The real money is now all hidden in tax havens owned by gangsters. I have to work in other ways to pay energy bills fixed by hidden cartels to pay unto Caesar that which he demands I pay him, or else his minions will send me to prison for not paying them. I met dozens of elderly people in my life who fought in World War 1 and they often said if they had known what they were really fighting for they wouldn’t have done it. And we still don’t have a constitution, bill of rights and don’t really know what we stand for, have to fight for and die for.
