Re-posting your comments JS Government workers only need a reasonable salary (most of which goes directly back into the economy) and benefits. A private company has fixed overhead, executive salaries and benefits, operating expenses and stockholders that demand ever increasing profits. Not to mention a usually low wage work force in need of public subsidies. Odd how the privatization proponents never mention our tax dollars pick up the tab either way. In fact, they imply that privatization will SOMEHOW magically alleviate taxes.
