PRESS RELEASE Their Majesties King Letsie III and Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso will, at the invitation of the Africa Chair for the Universal Peace Federation, attend the 2nd World Summit of the Universal Peace Federation to be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea from 9-13 August 2014. The objective of the Summit is to provide world leaders with an opportunity to share thoughts and inspiration with the Assembly on the theme: “Peace, Security and Human Development”. While in the Republic of Korea, His Majesty King Letsie III will receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree conferred to him by the Sun Moon University in recognition of his great contribution to the cause of world peace. His Majesty will also meet with Korean officials from the Saemaul “New Village” development project, which is globally renowned for its achievement in advancing the Korean economy. Their Majesties will be accompanied by The Hon Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr Mohlabi K Tsekoa, the Principal Chief of Likhoele, Chief Lerotholi Seeiso, The Senior Private Secretary to His Majesty, and other senior government officials.
