Reader question: do you have tips for her? Does anyone have ideas on how to get rid of stale cigarette smoke odor in their home? We moved in here about 3 weeks ago, the painters used a paint that is supposed to kill the smoke odor and the floors (hardwood) were stripped and refinished. Now that the paint and floor chemical smells are gone the lingering odor of stale smoke still lingers, mainly in the bedrooms? I am about at my wits end trying to kill the smell.
