Reader says: I just want to let you all know to hang in there. Things WILL get better. Keep taking the high road. Keep being patient. Keep allowing your exN to show his true colors- because it DOES work out in the end. I kept telling myself that someday it would- and yesterday it did. I had court for a modification of our parenting agreement because I moved 30 miles away. My ex has been bullying me into giving him more time with the kids. He has been making up his own rules. He has been threatening to go for custody of the kids (and he truly believes he will win). He has videotaped me at exchanges. He has sent me emails accusing me of abusing our kids if they have a bruise or mark on them. He has been relentless. But hes all talk. He didnt show up for court yesterday. The judge was clearly annoyed. She looked right at his attorney and told him that no changes would be made to me being residential parent. She said do you hear me? Its not changing. Then she appointed a guardian ad litem who met with me right away. She had him figured out before I even said a word. I got a chance to tell her everything. I could tell that she has had a lot of experience with these kinds of guys. She told me she would have to meet with him still- however her recommendation for a parenting schedule is BEAUTIFUL! All of this bullying he has done has now caused him to have to live with a very strict parenting schedule that hes not going to be happy with. During my interview with the guardian ad litem- she looked me in the eye and said I believe every word you are saying. I started crying. Someone finally heard me! Keep the faith warrior moms.
