Real MOM Question:I have a 6 1/2 year-old who is frequently tired, usually pale and tired-looking even though he gets a solid 11 hours of sleep a night. Today he told me he cant run at recess with his friends because he gets too tired. So its not just a matter of trying to get out of something, this is an activity he WANTS to do. He eats well (in my opinion-fruits,proteins, minimal junk); Weve already ruled out apnea/airway issues, but I plan to go back to the doctor. Hes tends to be dismissive, so any useful feedback I can gather here would be appreciated. is this normal? Am I being overly concerned?
