Real hippies are patriotic, pro American, pro government, law abiding, just, fair, kind and sometimes merciful. Real hippies are not commies, anti white, anti Jesus or anti Christian. Real hippies support solutions to real problems, that implement progressive change. Real hippies are not all democrat. They realize that there are two parties: have and have not. They respect the Republic for which they stand and believe in law and order. Real hippies dont buy the gay agenda, anarchy or whining and sniveling about race. They came from the Haight Ashbury as their global mega center and of those that were born there in the 50s know, the local bay area surfers were the first to live the healthy elements of the movement. These were the ones that pioneered health food cooperatives and healthy lifestyles like martial arts and yoga. I can attest to these things because I was born there in 1950 before there were hippies.
