Really US Gov.? Shutdown? Seriously!?! To Congress, Really? Youre shutting down because you couldnt get Obama to defund Obama care? Its got his name right on it for Petes sake. Ok, it was funny the first time. But it was never ever going to pass. Let it go already. To Obama All essential? services will continue as far as I can tell from the media, the only thing that shutdown are parks and monuments. Sooo every thing else is essential? You couldnt think of anything else. To whole Gov. is this fight really so important that were going to shutdown and quit paying our bills? I mean its not like were really paying them anyway. Youre just going to raise the debt ceiling. Gee I wish I could be the US Gov. Wow! Would you look at these bills. I guess well have to sign a piece of paper saying that we have more money. I have bills, how come I cant do that. No Im not kidding Mr. Bill Collector. Im looking at it right now. It passed last night by a family vote of 3 to 2. You sir are paid. Please dont call again. And you know what else Gov. as far as parks and monuments are concerned, just leave it. I heard yesterday, about a group of veterans that pushed past the barricades and went down to the Vietnam Veterans War Memorial anyway. Good for them, they earned it. So just leave it. We can take care of our own parks and memorials. Id happily pitch into a memorial pledge drive. Or better yet, give me the option on my w2s to have my taxes go to fund the projects I think are essential. I know thats a fantasy, but if it ever happened wed have the best paid teachers, and police along with the most spectacular parks and monuments in the world. Its a testament to the idea of Democracy that even with these Vogons running things we still live in the greatest Country on earth. Democrats quit crying about Republicans, Republicans quit crying about Obama care, just sign the damn paper and quit ruining my life.
