Really disgusted with the school system now. The baseball teams had double headers scheduled today! consider this: Fall break is centered around Thanksgiving; Winter break is centered around Christmas; Spring break is centered around Easter. Now the Supreme Court ruled Bible reading and prayer in school violated the Constitution. Looking at when schools traditionally take breaks there is an obvious problem with the Supreme Court ruling. Public schools are set up by the state government and receive support from state and federal coffers! Thus the Supreme court ruling should be revisited or school breaks be taken other than when a Christian event occurs. If we keep to this same schedule then Holy days for Jews and Muslims should be observed also. If schools declare a school holiday then there should be NO athletic or other school sanctioned activity during that break!
