Really, when I hear that a seven-year-old goes to school in the morning at eight and stays there until the late afternoon, five or even six o’clock, I have the feeling that this is a terrible thing to do to the child! Thinking back to my own childhood, I know how many hours we spent every afternoon playing on the roof the houses in town, by the bank of the river or out on the road.
