Im reposting it here so everyone sees it. - Marijke Hey, Im 22 and I feel like nothing about me is normal...I was told to reach out to this group in order to find guidance and help. On my 19th birthday I had surgery...it went wrong and my bile duct was nicked...I was in the hospital for three days until the doctor told me that insurance wouldnt pay for my room so I was sent home. I had a fever, couldnt walk, eat, sleep, and I had a horrible pain in my right side. I didnt go to the doctor until I week and a half later when they saw liquid surrounding my lung. I was hospitalized immediately and tests were done. They found out what happened and told me that I should go ahead and prepare for the worst. Surgery was an option but we wanted to avoid that and so I fought it. A month and a half later I was released and nothing has been the same. I have a weakened immune system, I lost half of a lung, I suffer from PTSD, and lost one job due to my health and about to lose another...if anyone has any insight please contact me thank you
