Recently James Golding marked the 5th anniversary of the day he left hospital, after having been given a 5% chance of survival during his fight against cancer and septicaemia. He didn’t have a party or some quiet time to reflect. Instead he set off on an epic cycling challenge, cycling over 1,150 miles over 7 days to raise funds for Macmillan. James was attempting to break the world record for the most miles covered on a bike over 7 days and whilst he didn’t break the current record this time, his journey was truly remarkable.
