Recently someone told me that because they are older than me and have more money, they know more than me, with the belief that they for certain must have experienced more… How ignorant and sad. Money and age does not equate to intelligence or quality experiences, by which you are meant to grasp life lessons. The more money someone has, the more SUPERFICIAL experiences they might encounter, but it does not mean they are learning values about love, family, health… any of the things money cannot by. These things are learned by example, guidance, and decisions which have made them a priority to put at the forefront of your life. Money runs out… Age is just a mark that your body is older… but the path by which God puts you on whether you are young or old, rich or poor, is what determines the value of your experiences, what you learn, and how you grow. No two lives are the same, nor is the rate at which people learn, nor their capacity to retain lessons. Never be so ignorant to deny yourself the opportunity and blessing to learn from someone who can bring something to your life, just because your ego tells you that you don’t need it.
