Recently we had a customer, Jim Franz, return to us saying hed bought a good half dozen barrels from us over the years, but felt the cost were too high to continue buying from us. So he found another company online who sold barrels for half the cost. Bought quiet a few, and from there was severely upset with this decision. First, half the barrels wouldnt seal and constantly leaked, but the other company wouldnt replace them for free. Second, the ones he was able to use caused his whiskey to essentially sour, I had to get more info on this, but he said it was like the oak was still green and vastly under charred. When his friends came over, they made fun of how poorly constructed his new barrels appeared and laughed when he told them what had happened. Jim Franz is now a life long 100% dedicated customer who swears by Deep South Barrels quality, service, guarantee and realistically reasonable prices. Please learn from the mistakes of customers like Jim.
