Recieving prophecy As a word for your edifying is going forth, you dont interrupt. 1Thess.5:20(Despise not prophesyings.) The manifestation of the prophetic office works in the congregation, the church. Its possible in one congregational setting to have a prophet speaking and there is another prophet in the same setting that prophecy is revealed through. Scripture:1Cor.14:29(Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.) The true spirit of a prophet is not only subject to what God is revealing through him, but is also subject to what God is revealing through another prophet and this can happen in the same setting.
