Recruiting TIP: Video evaluations will be the foundation of a student-athlete’s recruiting campaign, so an athlete should keep playing hard at every opportunity to build a highlight video. Athletes whose sports rely more heavily on skills video than highlight videos should make arrangements to record footage in a controlled environment where quality, close-up footage can be obtained from proper angles so that a coach can get a true feel for the recruit’s skill level and potential.
