We were privileged to come across 8 of these amazing tables from a local school. They date from the Wakefield Era - 50s to 60S Each table is solid without any structural defects. 4 are adjustable in height. 3 have open storage ($65OBO). 1 is adjustable in height without open storage ($50 OBO). 4 of these tables are fixed in height with a wood cross brace that run from side to side. 3 have open storage.($65) There is also 1 table with fixed height that does not have open storage ($ 50 OBO). Use these tables for a retro industrial look as a Desk/Coffee Table/Side Table/Couch Table/Work Table/ Childs Desk/Child Art Table/Display...so many options. Use the birch wood top with different legs. Use the legs with a different top.There are 4 tables with fixed height and 4 Adjustable Tables. With the adjustable tables, the metal legs are adjustable up and down with a ratchet locking arms with 4 separate set adjustments which are approximately and inch apart. All 8 tables have the following approx. dimensions: Length is 50 (4 Feet 2 inches) x Width 24 x Max Height from floor to top of table is 25 (Min Height 21 for those that are adjustable). If you want to figure out knee clearance subtract 1.5 for table top thickness (no open storage) and 6 5/8 for the tables with open storage. 3 of the adjustable tables and 3 of the fixed height tables have removable open storage. The removable open storage is attached to the bottom of the table with screws and rounded washers to protect a childs knee from being scratched. The open storage is equally divided with the following dimensions: D 13.5 x W 33 9/16 x H 5 1/8. As a point of reference a typical, modern coffee table is 16.5 to 23 depending on the look you want. The tables with open storage would be great for remotes, magazines, etc. Because we also have 4 tables that are not adjustable too, we have the ability to add storage to the one adjustable table that does not have storage and visa versa.
