Reflective this morning. Its been a long, long road with public schools. From Abbeys first day of kindergarten in 1996 to now. As he walked away from my car, in his blue jeans and Chaps sweater with his perfected hair ;) , I was hit with the dumptruck of reality. Today is the first day of my last year as a public school parent. Corey, my youngest baby, is a high school senior. Where in this world has the time gone? In a few short months he will be gone from the nest, embarking on his life. The last, of four, entering as the big fish in the little pond. I remember lots about my senior year and it does fly by! And, although my heart aches knowing that the next stage of my life approaches, Im filled with joy and pride because I have raised four very kick a$$ kids! Hope today is an awesome day! I know it will be! The class of 2015, my last graduation, my last little bird getting ready to fly away. Everyone be safe today!
