Regarding all the post about Paul Walker: apparently people are attacking those posting about the sadness of his Death, mostly agitated for the fact that American soldiers are also dying and no one seems to pay their respect via facebook post. I dont agree with attacking something that someone posts on their personal facebook page; they have a right to their own perspective. I will blatantly state I think it is ridiculous that a war still being fought seems to be forgotten. If you were a soldier, as i am, who has been deployed in combat and/or lost friends fighting in the war you would most likely sympathize with the soldiers and veterans who are upset. I dont think it is easy for civilians to understand because they have never lived it, like a man understanding a woman- he cant because he had never bern a woman. We are just frustrated and see it as disrespectful that people acknowledge a celebrity, but usually dont acknowldege non-celebrity or soldiers deaths. Its a frustration of being gorgotten, which is in patriotic in my eyes.... However its largely the medias fault for lacking to address or cover a war that is still being fought to provide security on the homeland. Its sad he died, I think even more tragic if his father was in the car with him.... I dont know because I didnt bother reading about it as I am more concerned with the NFL, NBA, culinary arts and politics than celebrities. When any life is taken it is sad, especially if taken without any thought of it happening. But a life lost by an American soldier is honorable and tragic. Just trying to peacefully show the point of view that some of these people who are upset about the uproar over Paul Walker may share Maybe they should express themselves better or not attack anyone- that seems so silly.
