Regarding the new Facebook privacy policy and legal gobbledygook - TopicsExpress

Regarding the new Facebook privacy policy and legal gobbledygook that I really dont understand.... If you like my photographs feel free to share them with whomever you wish. I post them in the hopes that perhaps they will bring a smile to your face, brighten your day, inspire you, or maybe cause you to view the world in a slightly different way. My philosophy towards my work is as it has always been: If a hundred years from now someone looks at one of my photographs and it causes them to smile, it inspires them, lifts their spirit, or touches them in some way, then I have achieved some semblance of immortality. What more reward could a man ask for? I did not create, nor do I own the sky, or the trees in the forests, the sea, or the colors of the sunrises and sunsets. They were created by God, and their beauty belongs to every single one of us. He is the true artist in all of this. Me, Im simply a man who twirls a few dials and pushes a button in an attempt to capture the magnificence of His work. I have never, and would never, presume otherwise. From an artistic perspective my page and posts have no theme, no agenda, just this underlying belief of mine that despite all the pain, the anger, the ugliness that exists in this world, there is still, and will always be, magnificent, incomparable beauty. I choose to see light over darkness and I choose to spread that light whenever I can. Therefore, I post the things that I love, that I find beautiful, that inspire and move me, make me think, laugh, and expand my perceptions and my heart. But above all, I post in tribute to, and in memory of, my wife Lynne. She, who was the embodiment of true inner and outer beauty, was all of those things and more to me. Her love changed the color of my world and my perception of life itself. Her strength and dignity in the face of death serves as an endless source of inspiration for me. There is a part of her in every one of my photographs. Now then, having said all of that, let me address the business at hand and make one thing perfectly clear: If someone were to ever take one of my photographs and use them for a commercial endeavor, or monetary gain, without my permission, woe unto them and may God have mercy on their soul. For I will unleash the Hounds of Hell upon them, sear their flesh with the burning sword of Perditions Flame, and cast the smoldering remnants of their wretched bones into the eternal fires of Dantes Inferno. Have yourselves a great day. :) Michael
