Regardless of what candidate you feel prevailed over the three debates, I ask you to put on your thinking cap and go back in time. In 2009 the unemployment rate was 20% today it is 8%, a the reduction of 12 percentage points in just four years all being done with a struggling economy. The school system has several schools in jeopardy of being taking over by the state as they were at level five and level four status far below requirements. Today all of our schools have come off of monitoring by the state, we have one level III school that has just begun its recovery plan it will be off soon and all done by this Mayor. In 2009 the waterfront had no activity other than Seigels. Today we have cleaned up the waterfront a multi million dollar restaurant is up and drawing people into the city. We have projects on the drawing board to continue the expansion of the waterfront, the Battleship area has been expanded and read done over the past few years . We have we opened restaurants near the Battleship we have opened small businesses around the corner from the Battleship we have expanded small businesses throughout the city we have enacted a new program for first time home owners where we hełwill help with down payment and low interest, With the Support of this administration the state has gone forward with the 79 construction and design project. Crime in 2009 was a great concern to all. And four years this administration has put in high technology shot spotter technology that can send authorities to a spot where a gun has been fired in a matter of minutes. Crime stats released recently show crime down significantly in every area including on Robbies, house invasions, burglaries, Assault and batteries auto theft and shoplifting. We are the only gateway city in the area that can say we have only had on homicide in over two years and as we always say that is one too many. But in gateway cities and in hey urban areas , gun violences runs rampant, here we have taken the I can do approach and have reduce crime across the board. The administration built two houses for veterans that were riddled with crime and drug dealing with the assistance of the attorney general this administration reconstructed and designed these houses to house our veterans. This administration has been working tirelessly to improve the parks and recreation areas in the city for our children and families to use. As recently as a month ago another park had the addition of new playground equipment all state of the art safety equipment . under this administration all recreation areas in all the parks have been a top priority. Before this administration neighborhood associations complain repeatedly of going to the prior mayor with problems of crime and other things that were never addressed. The neighborhood associations were a focal point in 2009 campaign promise that this administration work from the streets up , not from the top down. They have kept his promise by working with neighborhood to target crime areas and have the police move in, clean up the areas and reduce crime. Under this administration for river received its first playground designed for children with handicaps. I can go on and on. This Mayor has done great things for the citizens of this city and we should be grateful and reward him with voting NO ON THE RECALL and allowing this Mayor to complete his term which we the citizens voted him in overwhelmingly with over 70% of the vote. Please dont allow 3500 people to undo what you have done. Yes you hear about 5500 people signing a petition what they do not tell you is that only 3500 of those signatures were any good the rest would not able to be certified leaving us to wonder who signed the paper. On December 16 you can express your feelings at the voting booth by telling those 3500 people they do not speak for you you can tell them we voted this administration and by 70% and we want them to finish their job. Vote no on the top portion of the ballot connecting the arrows on the bottom part yconnect the arrow alongside the name of William Flanagan. If you do that we will complete what we have started, we will continue fixing streets and sidewalks. We have just received I multi million dollar grant to redo streets and sidewalks in the south end of the city. This can be achieved throughout the city but we need to be in office to do that. Mayor William Flanagan respectfully and I humbly ask for your vote on December 16
