Regina Lou Nichols, age 72 of Lewisburg, died Friday, September 19, 2013 at her daughter’s home. Ms. Nichols was a native of Seth, West Virginia and daughter of the late Abe Thomas and Verdie Sutphin Loftus. She was retired from Newell Rubbermaid. She is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Junior) Bowen of Cornersville, Sally (Chris) Erner of Lewisburg, and Lavanda Jean (Mike) Weir of Cocoa, Florida, son, Charles Bassham of Lewisburg, two sisters, Inez Smith of Edinburg, Texas and Chris Valo of Troy, New York, four brothers, Danny Loftus of Derry, Pennsylvania, Wilbur Loftus of Waco, Texas, Hershel Loftus of Clarion, Ohio, and Darrell Loftus of Texas, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 22, 2013 from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will be at London Funeral Home Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m until the funeral hour for visitation.
