Registered Manager – Large Nursing Home Registered Manager - Large nursing home in Bishop Auckland, County Durham £40,000 - £45,000 bonuses Eclypse Recruitment is looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Home Manager for a large nursing/ residential home in Bishop Auckland This purpose built care home provides nursing and social care for the frail elderly and mentally infirm elderly. We are looking for a strong Manager to manage the day to day running of the home in County Durham focusing on the care side as well as the business and marketing of the service. The home is ideally located in lovely surroundings and we are keen to find the right person for this fantastic opportunity. The home is a nursing home so you will need to understand the CQC regulations relating to nursing homes although a nurse is not essential for this role the management skills is paramount. The ideal candidate needs to be an experienced Home/ Registered Manager with the relevant management qualifications and a track record of managing medium/ large services previously. The emphasis for this role is a strong Manager focused on care, staff management and a new challenge - a dynamic individual who will be hands on in their role as a Care Home Manager. The home needs some TLC so a strong troubleshooter, good commercial experience and not afraid of a challenge being able to push the service forward to build up the home and its reputation. This home is part of a small organisation who are more paramount in the South therefore you will be required to manage quite autonomously as the Home Manager but will have the support and mechanisms in place to be able to undertake your role successfully. We can only consider candidates who have previously managed elderly care homes which have been a minimum of 40 beds in size due to this being a large home and needs a very experienced home manager.
