Registered Yoga Teacher Training starts this weekend, April 12 @ 9am. This training is being offered at an amazing rate. Next teacher training will go back to regular price of $2500. We adjusted our weekends for our early birds. Training dates are April 12, 13 April 18,19 May 2,3,4 May 16,17,18 May 30,31, June1 Frequently asked questions: Q. Are you hiring teachers? A. Yes Q. What if I miss a day or weekend? A. We try to work with you as much as possible. You can make it up with Crystal or attend that section of the next training at no additional cost. Q. What are the hours? A. This varies a little, but most of the time the weekend hours are as follows: Friday 5:30pm-7:30pm Saturday 8:30am-4pm Sunday 12:30-5pm Q. Are there requirements outside of the weekend trainings? A. Yes. You must attend a set amount of hours of classes taught by Yoga Alliance Registered teachers at McP Hot Yoga Studio or another approved location. You will be required to team teach with Crystal as well. Team teaching does not take place until after you have completed the 5 weekends of training. Q. Can I register through Yoga Alliance? A. Yes McP Hot Yoga Studio is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance. Q. Will I only learn Hot Yoga? A. No we teach multiple styles of yoga that can be used in any environment. We teach you how to teach to any type of client. Q. How much do yoga teachers make? A. There is no black and white answer for this. This all depends on how often you teach and what classes you teach. We cannot say what you will make elsewhere, but McP has many opportunities for you to make as little or as much as you want. Q. Is previous Yoga experience required? A. No, actually sometimes it is easier to teach someone who knows very little than to reteach bad habits. You also do not have to be an amazing Yogi or Yogini to become a teacher. Diversity in teachers is what makes studios great. Crystal had 1 week of Yoga experience before taking her first Yoga Teacher training. We do highly encourage people to try some of our classes before signing up. All McP teachers have been trained by Crystal. We have had people show up for training, that had never stepped foot in the studio before.
