Heres the line-up: Monday, July 14 - 11:00AM | Afro-Brazilian Experience: Ologundê celebrates the rich Afro-Brazilian culture of Salvador, Bahia through a diverse repertoire of music, dance, and martial arts. Prepare to be transported to Brazil through performances of such style as Candomblé, Maculélé, Capoeira, and Samba de Roda! Wednesday, July 23 - 11:00AM | Rising Stars of Tomorrow: Showcasing a creative array of the region’s most talented young performers ages 8-21 Monday, July 28 - 11:00AM | Freedom Youth Jamboree The Rock School for Dance Education performs “Catto at the Bat,” a classical ballet baseball en pointe. Philadelphia Boys Choir sings Negro Spirituals and traditional Gospel music. Freedom Youth Jamboree is part of the Philadelphia Freedom Festival. Thursday August 7 - 11:00AM | Global Passages Journey to Ireland, China, and West Africa through music, song, and dance. Featuring the Coyle School of Irish Dance, Philadelphia Chinese Lion Dancers, and the Universal Dance & Drum Ensemble.
