Regular Meeting Of the Greeley City Council Jan 13, 2015 Mayor Kruse called the meeting to order at 7:02p.m. The following were present: Brady, Kloser, Graham, and Schmitz. Fry was absent. Mayor Kruse welcomed all our guests. Guests present: Steve Cornwell, Jason Sperfslage, and Dave Pierschbacher. A motion was made by Graham, and seconded by Brady, to approve the agenda. Ayes: Schmitz, Graham, Brady, Kloser. Nays: none. Motion carried. A motion was made by Schmitz, and seconded by Brady to approve the consent items as follows. Ayes: Schmitz, Graham, Brady, Kloser. Northway will be working on pump #2. Streets and Parks All is well with the streets and park. Fire Department Dave Pierschbacher reported that the Greeley Fire Department held their election of officers. The elected officers are as follows: Chief - Dave Pierschbacher Assistant Chief - Waylon Fry Training Officer - Steve Engelken Medical Officer - Randy Young 1st Captain – Rod Nuree 2nd Captain – Brad Fry A motion was made by Graham and seconded by Kloser to approve the Fire Department Officers. Ayes; Schmitz, Graham, Brady, and Kloser. Nays; none. Motion carried. The City of Greeley would like to thank Brad Fry for his years as training officer, and welcome the officers to their positions. Public Comments Jason Sperfslage stated that he is in the process of purchasing a house in Greeley. Welcome to town Jason! Business A motion was made by Schmitz and seconded by Brady to approve a mobile home permit to Randy Phillips for the placement of a mobile home @ 302 N. Church St. Ayes, Schmitz, Graham, Brady, and Kloser. Nays; none. Motion carried. A motion was made by Schmitz and seconded by Brady to adopt Resolution 0115-1. A procurement policy for the City of Greeley. Ayes; Schmitz, Graham, Brady, and Kloser. Nays; none. Motion carried. The City has sent out Requests for Proposals from vendors for the Generator and Siren grants. There has been no news on the housing rehab grant. With no further business to discuss a motion was made by Schmitz, and seconded by Graham, to adjourn at 7:52 pm. Ayes; Schmitz, Graham, Kloser and Brady. Nays; none.
