Reiki or the Universal Energy of Love...... Yesterday at the Spiritual Freedom meeting Holly Heidmann introduced us to the World of Reiki. It was very interesting to listen to everyone and their different experiences even with other Healing Arts and Traditions. Reiki, to me, is everywhere....is the Energy that sustains life and makes it possible and we all have access to it. Reiki is Love. Yesterday one of the kids I take care of fell. He is three years old and a very beautiful child inside and outside....He hurt his foot and I knew right away that it must have been very painful. He came to me and said Ria....I want to be with you and while he was crying he sat on my lap. I gently stroke his back while I was talking softly and kissing his head....He immediately stopped crying.....itin a few seconds he quit feeling pain......that was Reiki.... All we touch with Love receives the needed Healing...emotional, physical, spiritual.....He was open to me and I was open to the little one....and God was able to flow and kiss His child.
