Rejoice A young man enters a room. An old man is standing by a door, hes miserable. The old man says, Dont open that door. He opens the door and hes on this beautiful island, with everything he needed and a mansion. He goes in the mansion. Theres a door and a man says, Dont go in that door. He opens the door and its a beautiful land. Hes welcomed as king, marries a beautiful queen and has servants. Hes in the palace, sees a door and a guy says, Dont go in that door. He opens that door and hes back in the original place. Hes miserable like the old man sitting there. Proverbs 5:15 says, Drink waters from your own cistern. The secret of a joyous life is to stop dwelling on the woman you dont have, rejoice in the wife you do. Stop dwelling on the home you dont have, rejoice in the home you do. Stop dwelling on the blessing you dont have, start thanking God for the blessings you do have. If God is in your life, theres heaven in your life. Dont miss it longing for what you dont have and miss what you do. Big break Stop looking, wishing and hoping for some other person or outside event to give you a break. Go ahead and give yourself a big break. The perfect opportunity is not the one that exists only in your fantasies. The perfect opportunity is the one you have right now. You have the opportunity, on this day, in this place, to do good and valuable things that will move your life forward. You can have the big break you desire by working to make it happen. If you wait for conditions to be perfect before taking action, all you’ll ever do is wait. Go ahead, with things just as they are, and do all you can. Accept the fact that it is indeed difficult to move your life and your world forward. When you stop fighting against the difficulties, and simply work your way through, they are not nearly so difficult. This is the time you have, and this is the time to act. Give yourself a great big positive break today, and feel the joy as your most treasured dreams begin to come to life. Need Nothing Everyone thinks they need to get something. But the truth is we dont need anything. We already have what we need. Trouble arises when we think we have to keep what we receive. Its the keeping that sustains our neediness. But whatever comes to us is not for keeping, it is for giving. And when you give, you get. Deep down we all know this eternal truth. Its one of those cast iron laws of the universe. But we are conditioned to think the opposite. No wonder there is a poverty of faith. Not religious faith, but the faith that the universe will bring us whatever we need, at the right moment in the right way. So start today - give, give, give - time, energy, assistance, care, co-operation. On how many levels do you see the opportunity to give? Its good to be a just do it person.
