Religious War - 24th November 2013 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son - (1 John 2:18, 22, NIV). A friend of ours just returned from England where he received first- hand knowledge of Muslims active in the very place where he worked for many years. These Muslims were claiming that Judaism was dead, that Christianity was dead, and that now is the time for Islam to become the dominant world religion and world power. While not all Muslims are radical, many around the world are fundamentalists who not only hate Jews, Christians, Americans and other Westerners, but are determined to have us killed or made slaves to their barbaric form of religion. Be assured of this, Allah of the Islam faith and the Koran is not the God of the Bible. And to Muslims, Jesus Christ may be a prophet, but he is NOT God the Son who died for our sins nor is he the Savior of the world. Note todays Scripture verse and what Gods Word says about those who deny that Jesus is the Christ. The war today against terrorism that is seeking to destroy Jews, Americans, Westerners and Christians is a religious war. We are not warring against a people or a nation as such, but against religious zealots whose goal, as taught by the Koran, is to destroy all infidels. And who are the infidels? Its everyone who is not a Muslim or a member of the Muslim or Islamic faith. That includes me and many of our Daily Dose Devotional Readers. Some of our readers in various parts of the world are already in the crosshairs of radical, fundamental Muslims. And as 9/11 has shown us, if not taught us, we in this world may not be as safe as we would like to think we are. Think of Spain, too, where the majority of people recently voted out government leaders who were taking a stand against terrorism and voted in leaders who yielded to terrorists tactics. Muslims world- wide certainly dont want the U.S. to have leaders who take an aggressive stand against terrorism—and especially leaders who are committed Christians who Im sure recognize the fact that we are involved in a religious war. God forbid that we should ever surrender to religious terrorists tactics. Tragically, In most of the Christian Countries where Christian bashing is increasing at an alarming rate and where even using the word, God, in public places is being condemned by so many who claim to be leaders, who, at the same time, are appeasing Muslims, and claiming that Islam is a religion of peace. In one town Muslims want their Mosques loudspeakers to announce the call to prayer. Imagine if Christian churches wanted to do this. The cry would probably be heard around the world on the evening news. What is the answer against all forms of evil? We Christians need to awake and not only demonstrate our faith in our everyday lives, but also aggressively communicate the gospel in word and action across the nation and around the world. The average American church is spending 95% of its income on itself—preaching to the choir as it were. No wonder we Christians arent making an impact on our society, let alone the rest of the world. SAY THIS: Our Heavenly Father, open the eyes of every Christian at home and abroad so that we will see what the forces of evil are doing among us in todays world. Please send a great spiritual awakening so that we will never yield to the beliefs and tactics of those who deny that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the Living God. And help us in our manner of living to demonstrate the love of God in everything we do, and be genuinely committed to help spread the gospel across the street and around the world.
