Remember back when people cared about each other, now were all stuck in our own hustle and bussel, acting like we all live so far apart but we just awkwardly say hi and run when we bump into each other at walmart, we make everything seems so complicated but were all to lazy to make the little changes, to make time to talk or go see one another, were all to busy with this that and the other, but the truth is you aint really doin nothin, sittin in front if the tv eatin food from the microwave oven, waitin for the timer to count down to zero, but the whole time theres a bigger countdown that we cant hear tho, life is ticking away minute by minute, no way to pause it rewind it we just dont get it, next thing you know its been a week then a month, goin faster and faster til were in a crunch, to race to a hospital to try and catch a last moment, their clock has ran low but you have time but cant loan it. If I wish I coulda shoulda dont mean nothin when youre sittin here thinkin about that loved one. My dads birthday is this month and I wish I had a little more time. Make time people.
