Remember this sweet boy? This is Teddy, and the first picture in this video got lots of attention several months ago when he was brought in to our AHS Newark facility. The picture of this sweet and loving dog that had been attacked by another dog and is missing part of his lip got so much attention that he was adopted fairly quickly, and we thought that was great! Unfortunately, Teddy came back to us not long after when his new owner moved and couldnt take him along. Teddy came down to us at Popcorn Park for a change of scenery, with the hopes of finding the wonderful, forever home that he deserves. Well, hes still waiting folks, so please spread the word for this darling boy! Teddy is a pit mix that is about 4 to 5 years old. He obviously led a pretty lousy life before coming to us. His ears look as if they were cut with kitchen scissors, and hes got some scars that show the sad life that he led. Teddy has put all of that behind him though, and doesnt hold a grudge against anyone. He is such a loving and affectionate guy that wants nothing more than to be with you, be held, and get some attention. We discovered that Teddy has a slight neurological disorder that causes his legs to knuckle under from time to time, but as you can see, he doesnt let that hold him back. He can run and have fun with the best of them! Hes such a happy guy with a bright outlook on life, and he is longing for a good family to help him to start his life over again. Teddy gets along with some dogs that he meets, but would prefer a home with no cats or small children under the age of 10. He is so well behaved and just wants to be part of a loving family that will never let any harm come to him, and never let him go again. Please come in and meet our Teddy. We know youll love him too.
