Remembering a man, a giant man who looked the eyes of defeat square on and turned it into victory. This man lives on today because of the past and even though he is gone now, and yet the team is still here, it and he are still recognized for its glory and for the people who support them, more so than any other team in the United States. I draw a comparison to this man that Paul Harvey idolized in his below speech, to a man now with us, not in football but in politics, A man who under fire and with defamatory opposition still forges forward and continues to fight for the team, the team happens to be the people of Wisconsin, battling for victory for all of us not just a few. This man works tirelessly day in and day out and seems to never get tired or discouraged but only to work harder, and each day gaining the respect of the team as it grows larger with the knowledge that this one man is giving his all to the State he loves. This man is Governor Scott Walker. This man is to politics as Vince Lombardi was to football. Listen to Paul Harvey on the passing of a great man and a great era, and consider that we now have again one man who is transforming a State in trouble from the past into a State to be idolized by all others for the achievements that have been made and will continue to be made as long as we keep him in office.
