Remembrance Sunday... One of the few days left in the country where I can say Im proud to be British ( only today Im British ). People of all ages gather around numerous cities across the nations to pay tribute and respect those who have Fought in battles throughout the years for the freedom of this nation and for the freedom other nations deserve. To watch the veterans really gives me an enormous sense of well being and I will never be grateful enough to them for giving me the opportunity to write this in English not German. This isnt just about the two world wars its even about the service men and women still fighting foreign shores now. Going down to support these folk in numbers is what its all about and remembering them for all they have done and all they will continue to do and to show those who seem to not care about the history that has been created That this is a nation that cares about it and even more so in the city of Portsmouth where this week Cameron and co thought the need to overshadow this weekends events by ruining a history,jobs and a city.. Never forget the past,remember service men who have fought and lost lifes in battles,remember and embrace the survivors and the service men protecting us and other nations now I thank you... Now where ever you are go and support this day if possible to stand up be counted and show we will not surrender... Lest we forget but may I say thank you from the bottom of my heart...
