Reminder - Call for Filmmakers and Video Artists (SUBMISSION DEADLINE 6/8/14): Altered Esthetics is currently taking submissions for a film/video exhibit to be held at The Southern Theater located on the West Bank in Minneapolis. This exhibit is tied to the Ae Without Walls July 2014 show: It Came from the Q’arma Building! a group exhibition where artists explore b-movies and low budget filmmaking, primarily in 2D form. The film/video exhibit portion/event is looking for film/video work that is not necessarily b-movie related, and can be in form of experimental, video essay, video poem, narrative, animation, documentary, silent, etc.; with a length no longer than 20 minutes. We will accept new or previously exhibited work. How to submit: Please send your submissions(s) by email to: [email protected] the subject line heading: Submission for Ae Film/Video Exhibit ATTN: Jes Reyes Please include in your email the title, credits, length, date, and format of your submission. An artist statement is preferred, but not required. Send us up to three videos that can stream and download on Youtube or Vimeo (please include the password if private), or send a Quicktime attachment with your email.
