The Committee will hear testimony on Department of Defense proposals seeking to slow the growth of military personnel costs, the impact on the force should the proposed changes be enacted, and the effect on other areas of the defense budget should these proposals be rejected. The hearing starts at 9:30 a.m. with the first panel consisting of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and all the Service chiefs.
