Reminder about this workshop this Saturday. Doreen, Shirl and I are going. Voices From The Waters is hosting its next workshop on Saturday May 24th. We are delighted that Peter Lehner has agreed to include spending time with us on his short trip to Sydney , welcome news for anyone who has attended one of his workshops before Peter has had years of performing, but now focuses on facilitating shared musical experiences. He is a musical director who has worked extensively directing various community singing groups and choirs in Sydney and in the Lismore area, including the homeless and indigenous youth. Peter was the musical director of the Sydney Street Choir for some years until he left Sydney for a more rural setting. Now living in Lismore, he has set up the Winsome Street Choir, along similar lines to the Sydney Street Choir, bringing his unique style to the challenge. Come along for a great afternoon - learn some new songs with like minded music loving, friendly people; enjoy a ‘sumptuous’ afternoon tea; and leave with a brain pumping with endorphins – the feel-good hormone Where?
