Reminders from Mufti Menks: I remember once I was travelling and we had stop to refill in one of the petrol station;and there was a group of people in another vehicle who looked at us and started laughing because we were Muslimeen. They started laughing at us and couching and so on, we could see it. I told the brothers with me please just ignore them; It was actually my family. I came out, we bought some little bottles of water and what ever else while the motor vehicle was refilling; and there after we came out and happily went on to the road. Actually they had left 5 minutes before us. Some way down they had made a huge accident ; a very big accident and we were the first one to come out and Maa shaa Allah TabarakAllah ; what was an opportunity !! I did not say just just look at them and say you guys laughed at me !, you guys were coughing !,and you guys were so arrogant and now good Bye.No !we didnt say that, not at all . I stopped ignored what happened before and said lets deal with you guys Are you guys OK, is every body fine ; and I noticed there was injury, and in no time not only on my vehicle but few other people and we took them to the nearest hospital and we happened to helped them moved their vehicle and so many things happened. As a result I want to share with you a statement that was uttered to me a month down the line and told me I thought Islam was such a barbaric religion that never ever respected a human life and I changed my mind forever thats all. I did not tell him brother enter the fold of Islam and so on. I only him my brother here are two DVDs and two booklets I only want you to know what I believe , here you are; that all. Thats was enough SubhanAallah! by the will of Allah(SWT); at least the bear minimum is; at least the world can become a better place , people can start studying, they can start seeing and they can ask questions. What a great opportunity Allah gave us. This is what supposed to be the quality of a Muslim. May Allah makes us good Muslimeen. The worst from us is he or she who behaves in a way that ;those who already have bad impression of Islam starts to have the worst impression of Islam;then we have done a dis-service to not only to ourselves;but to Allah (SWT) and to Muhammad (pbuh) and the Deen at large and every Muslims on the globe. Then we call our selves good Muslims and then we complain about the imagine of Islam on the Globe when we have contributed towards it. Imagine its about time to revisit the rule of the game SubhanAllah. How can someone wants to play football when they dont know even know the rule of the game. If you want to be good Muslim you need to know revelation. You need to know what Allah wants from you;and you need to know. Its not good enough ;where one says wow you know I was born a Muslim and its OK I pray 5 times a day.
