Reminds me of Eglin AFB where I spent 8 days on an escape and evasion excercise. I even got caught up with some Army troops when we were all trying to make contact with the underground. They had to bail out when the pilot told them theyd been shot down. We met a helicopter and got a ride back, and then stuck right back in the woods. We made contact with the underground again and walked through the woods, and passed off to some Navy Seals on the last day. I got dehydrated that day and threw up. We were suppose to get picked up by a small plane that was used by the CIA in Vietnam but it crashed that morning. The next option was to wade out into the surf in high waves to a Navy Patrol boat but since word got back that I had threw up they sent a Dodge Van, which was fine with me.
