Reminiscing the happy moment when I was younger. While I study in kps, I always had someone looking out for me. My brothers were in that school and they were my seniors. I was very close to the general office auntie. Her name is auntie May, though shes a fierce tom boy, shes very friendly and funny! Mr Wang was the school OM. He always asks my result and ask me how I was doing all the time. I remembered celebrating my birthday across the school on the park and I got into trouble by creating loud noises with my friends while playing water ballon and the neighbors complained to our school. But mr wang let me go with light punishment after I explained to him. When I was in P1, I remembered that there were not many Chinese girls in my class.. So my first ever friend and best friend in that class was YuXian BeliefPigcanfly. He dont look like how he looks now. Haha! Then I met and became buddies with Ivan. He was timid that time and hell always cry when teacher scolded him and Im there to bring him to the back of the class to wash up. I first thought he was an ang moh from US. Haha! And every time he did something silly, Ill tell it to his mum. His mum was so cool and nice! I always wanted a little brother /sister, so I treated him as my brother and always protect and defend him from the others who keep disturbing him. Then p2 I met my first international friend. Her name is Mae, she was very slim and pretty. She was a prefect and she had this weird trick that she can move her elbow bones. I also met Serene, a Chinese cutie pie.. End of that year I had some major problem with her, but everything was fine a week later. And then we became best friends and buddies. But sadly, p3 she left kps because she moved house. I first time witnessed my brother, Joseph Chin and his friend who was punished for talking during silent reading! So they had to stand up on stage. Then my friends were like hey, your brother leh! And sadly, me and my friends were also sent up on stage for that. Hahaha! P3, I met my 3rd best friend and now still are, Pei Rong. 😘 Plus I met a great teacher, Mr Ang Eng Chuan. He love to give us popcorns and candy floss all the time. I even joined science club under his persuasion and when he gets angry, hell use the duster and bang on the wall. Every time we laugh, hell threaten us by saying you want to see a flying duster? 😂 and I met my lovely PE teacher! Hes name is mr Vincent!! I love him to death! He was my first teacher - man crush. Haha! Because of him, I starting loving PE and starting playing sports. I was given a great opportunity to become kpss sport leader, where I met even more friends! then P4 came. I met the best teacher ever. Her name was Miss Lim Chai Lay! OMGosh! Shes like my sister! She always looks out for me and get me out of trouble. She also helped me celebrate my birthday as I was the only Chinese girl in my class. Until now, I never forgotten what sheve done for me. I also became close friends with the tallest guy in the school I ever seen! Haha! His name is delvin. The P6, i became close friend with a Malay girl call aqilah! She was so bold, cheerful and hilarious!! Plus my first time becoming friends with a twin. Joey Neo Zuer and Joanne Neo. They were so cute and bubbly and full of energy! But sometimes boys likes to disturb them while me and Seraphina tried our best to wand them off. And we also became close friends with Seraphina and Siew xuan. Ive met another awesome teacher too. Hes name was mr selvan. Hes a very strict teacher but hes very funny and makes English lesson so interesting. Though sometimes when the class piss him off, hell turn into a monster. I remember all that years in kps, I was cca hopping. I was in science club, then art club, then basketball then swimming team then track and field team, then cheer leading. So many memories.. I was only great in shot put where I only had 4 gold medals and that were the only medals I got in school. I remembered Monday to Thursday we need to bring English story book while Friday we had to read Chinese story book. Most of the time, I forgot to bring, Ill excuse myself to the teacher saying Im going to the toilet, then Ill beg-tip my friends who were on duty at the staircase to let me get the story book from the mini library downstairs. Haha. I did get Samans from the traffic light marshals as I dashed across the street many times when I was going to be late (no cars of course) and trying to step inside the gate before it closes. So I was punished to be a marshal for two months which was a advantage to me so I could skip silent reading. Hehe! Along the way there was a few more people but I was unsure how I really know them and when. But I do love the memories gathered in primary school.. Now, Im waiting for the email from kps to go back and help the school. Cant wait! I love my primary school plus all the people I met too.. Sometime I wish I was still as happy and care free as I used to be.. But as we age, we start to think more. All that we are left to do is to move forward and just reminisce the happy past. 😊
