Remodel of a Tennessee home: before and after. Kate Johnson Binger focuses on wise space planning for this 2800 s/f home, as well as warm and sophisticated furnishings. None of these walls were load bearing, so it was a matter of Kate reconfiguring awkward bedrooms and closets. Due to some physical issues for this retired couple, we dropped the ceiling and converted the existing tiny loft space to a crawl space and attic, grabbing the real estate of the stairs for the first floor guest bedroom and bath. Interior Design is much more than the fluff of a home, although we really love that part too!
