Renewal of my State of California Medical Marijuana Identification Card and public transport This year I decided to use the trolley as transport to the County of San Diego Public Health Services office on Rosecrans St. San Diego. There 3 reasons for me making my annual pilgrimage on the MTS I have complained about the limitation place on patient and how critical public transportation is. 2: The cost to the patient to make all needed stops. 3: I need a new clutch for my card and could not find a ride. Pilgrimage begins at 10AM for a 12noon appointment at County of San Diego Public Health Services office on Rosecrans St. San Diego county only office you can go to for State of California Medical Marijuana Identification Card renewal. Adela drops me off at the Lemon grove trolley stop the shortest distance from Santee and was fun I had never taken the orange line before. 1030 got on the trolley and was on my way. 1130 arrived at the old town trolley station a stop and walk for me. The walk part took about 20 minutes to Health Services offices. As I closed in on my objective the sweet smell of urine was in the air but I push on this is a Pilgrimage after all. I would like to point out County of San Diego Public Health Services building has a ATM cost for me to use $4.00 to get my $166.00 renewal fee and gave me the time I needed to get back to my appointment at 12noon one half a hour later paper work completed. The MMI card county clerk reminded me to call the doctor and verify that he will be getting a fax from County of San Diego Public Health Services. Doctor’s office is off of Washington St one station from old town at this point I knew the doctor would want a paper work fee of $25. Went to office and paid the fee in person explanted that the fax is on the way. Talk about the merits of the MMI card she did not hear what I was saying and I went on my way. Time for a tally: Physician Recommendation $45.00 plus $25 paper work processing fee, ATM fee $4 had get money from 2 banks $166.00 to county and to way MTS ticket $2.50 and that is only because it is a Snf/Dis/Med Fare it would cost 12 or 14 dollars US if it was not for that. Gillespie field trolley station ride and walk now for the trek my house up a hill so it a hard walk 30 minutes I’ am home. Cost in money $282.50 cost in time 4 and half hours. Prospective I have spent some time doing court support trying to help a 420 pow through the system. I have been transporting them one in a wheelchair back in forth from court. They were taking the trolley from lakeside. Think about this when you vote for more restriction City San Diego government and who you are hurting
